Welcome! Welcome! Welcome! Without further ado, here is area of my site dealing with my personal martial arts activity and a few of the events at my dojo, DeSantos Martial Arts Studio. Please see the 'Winston Stableford' link for more information about me in a more general sense. You've come at
an interlude time. I graded for my
3rd Dan in the first week of October 2002. This involved a fair number of
written projects (1 2 3 4 5 6), an exercise journal,
original weapons and musical forms, the required curriculum of
course and a skit illustrating some tenet of TKD. I was lucky enough to get
some good shots of the training and almost the entire candidate roster -
thanks to the photographic (I could have said photogenic - but Fred doesn't
need any more publicity) talents of Fred Middleton. The
performance/celebration for the public was on October 18th. Now I’m in the phase of recovering from the Power Weekend (which always takes longer than I think it will), assessing which of areas of weakness and interest I need to focus on next within the inevitable time constraints of real life. |
