Sometimes ... it takes courage, just to grow up. Especially for kids who face challenges. I'm not talking about the everyday ups and downs of life. I'm talking about huge, seemingly insurmountable obstacles that could scarcely be handled by an adult, never mind a young person. For some, it's poverty or social circumstances created by an adult world. For others, it's physical challenges that confine their lives to a wheelchair existence, or prevent participation in a wide range of activities we take for granted. Don't you wish you could reach out to these kids in a way which would give them a moment of inspiration, allowing them to believe in themselves, and realize they can, in fact, do and achieve many things?
